The University of Catania (Italian: Università degli Studi di Catania) is a university located in Catania, Italy, and founded in 1434. It is the oldest university in Sicily, the 13th oldest in Italy and the 29th oldest university in the world. With a population of over 60,000 students, it is the main university in Sicily. Following the Italian Higher Education reform introduced by the law 240/10 and adopted by the University of Catania in its new Statute, Faculties have been disactivated and Departments have been reorganized. The University of Catania has now 23 Departments that, additionally to the traditional assignments of scientific research, are in charge of the organization and management of educational activities. The Department of Educational Sciences is composed by the following areas: Sociology, Pedagogy, Psychology, History and Philosophy. This internal structure contributes to give to the Department a wide range of specific expertise in the field of education directly linked with the educational European system.
SPOŁECZNA AKADEMIA NAUK (SAN) / UNIVERSITY OF SOCIAL SCIENCES is one of the leading private universities in Poland having 15.000 students and numerous academic staff. There are 18 departments, including Culture Studies, Language Studies, Sociology, Educational Science and Psychology that will contribute their experience to this project. with many specializations including language teaching. We also run Clark Language Centre (with Clark University) offering different types of intercultural courses. Apart from main activity the University is a significant institution of persistent adult education (LLL) offering tailored courses for adults in different environments, including people with migrational background.
The School Inspectorate of Iasi County, Romania (ISJ Iasi) directly linked with Ministry of Education (MEN), is a public body that provides professional guidance, coordination and evaluation for schools and training centres in order to ensure high-quality education services, continuous improvement and the effectiveness of the national / local education system and its compatibility with the European systems. Here activate 35 inspectors who coordinate and evaluate the activities carried out in approximately 300 schools (pre-school, primary and secondary level) where learn 140000 students and teach 9000 teachers.

Its activities include teacher training in ICT (IWB, tablets...), website and tool development, and participation in educational projects (at a regional, national and European level).
